How It Works

Simple, transparent,
no surprises

We want you to know exactly what happens when you submit a request, before you do it.

🍃 The process

What happens step by step

1

You describe the job

Fill in our short quote request form. Tell us your name, your location in Clacton or Tendring, what service you need, and a brief description of the job. The more detail you can give, the better we can match you. The whole form takes about 60 seconds.

2

We review your request

We look at your request and identify the most suitable arborist from our local network for your specific job and location. We consider the type of work, the area, and current availability. We don't just pass your details to the first name on a list.

3

The arborist contacts you directly

The tree surgeon contacts you directly by email or phone to discuss the job and arrange a time to visit if needed. They'll provide a free, written quote before any work begins. You deal directly with them from this point onward.

4

You decide, completely your choice

There is absolutely no obligation to proceed. If you're happy with the quote, you book the work directly with the arborist. If you'd like a second opinion or decide not to go ahead, that's completely fine, no pressure, no follow-up calls from us.

🍃 Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Most requests are matched within a few hours during working days. The arborist will then contact you in their own time, usually within one working day. We don't promise same-day responses because we can't always guarantee them, but we aim to be as quick as possible.
Yes, completely. There is no charge to you at any point. We are paid by the tree surgeons in our network, not by homeowners. The quote you receive is also free.
No. We match you with one arborist only. Your details are not shared with multiple businesses simultaneously.
Please mention it clearly in your description when you submit the form and we'll prioritise your request. For immediate emergencies where safety is at risk, please also contact your local council or emergency services.
It depends. Trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or in a Conservation Area require permission from Tendring District Council. The arborist we refer can advise you on this.
We cover Clacton-on-Sea and the wider Tendring district including Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-Naze, Harwich, Manningtree, Brightlingsea and surrounding villages. See our full list of areas.
